Community Supports are designed to provide individualized support to people who live in their own home, or at home with their family or other caregivers. Community Supports provide individuals with the opportunity to learn and develop the skills they need to develop and/or maintain the skills that they need to develop while also having the opportunity to participate in activities that are of interest and meaningful to them. Services are delivered to people based on their Community Service Support Plans and help focus on the skills and aspects of every day life that are of value to them.
Community Supports can be covered under the following services:
- In-Home Family Supports (IHFS)
- Independent Living Services (ILS)
- Supported Living Services (SLS)
- Individualized Home Supports (IHS)
- 24 Hour Emergency Assistance
